Waegwan - Southkorea

Waegwan is a small town in Chilgok county with a US Army Base (Camp Carroll).

During the Korean war one of the worst fights took place in the Waegwan mountains, on Mount 301 and at the Naktong river bridge.
The original bridge was destroyed during the war.
