Rice harvest in Korea
Spending close to two years in South Korea, I was able to watch two seasons of rice growing and harvesting go by.
To me, a European, it was more than fascinating to watch it all.
The way rice it's planted
how it looks when it grows
how the farmers care for it
how the fields look at some time in September
The fields are in terraces, behind and around our house
to see how it's harvested
and dried
and how they pack it all up
Excuse the quality of some pics. But I took the first ones in 2004, so not so high tech then.
